Rex M. Paine
Rex M. Paine is a Co-Founder of Torreón Capital. Prior to founding Torreón Capital, Mr. Paine was Vice-President and Product Group Manager of the Real Estate Services Group (“RESG”) of Dana Commercial Credit (“DCC”). After joining DCC in 1991, Mr. Paine was one of the principals that successfully liquidated a $300 million portfolio of loans and REO belonging to an Ohio thrift owned by Dana Corp. In 1997 as a principal of DCC’s RESG, Mr. Paine set investment parameters and established the transaction structure that was eventually adopted by RESG for its new equity investment program. Mr. Paine was later promoted to Vice-President and Product Group Manager and remained at DCC until joining Torreón Capital in 2002.


Charles R. Singletary
Charles R. Singletary is a Co-Founder of Torreón Capital. Prior to founding Torreón Capital, Mr. Singletary was the Senior Regional Manager at the Real Estate Services Group (“RESG”) of Dana Commercial Credit (“DCC”). Mr. Singletary joined DCC in 1998, and was responsible for origination of equity investments in commercial development or acquisition and repositioning of existing properties. Mr. Singletary has nineteen years of experience including corporate lending, loan workouts, restructuring of corporate, commercial or private investor credits in various industries, and experience in due diligence and acquisition analysis for the purchase of commercial real estate or pools of loans secured by commercial real estate.
